From the hottest up-and-coming online superhero entertainment
company in the world, FUTURIUS, comes “THE LONE SPACE
RANGER“, a 7-page science-fiction MASTERPIECE, written by
J.R. LeMar & beautifully illustrated by Chris J. Powers.
Deep in outer-space, one man bravely fights alone against
a vast alien armada, while struggling to make sense of the
seemingly futile nature of his mission.
Advanced reviews are in (totally unbiased, fair & balanced):
“I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT AS I TURNED
EACH PAGE. THE NON-STOP ACTION HAD ME
HOOKED, AND THE SURPRISE ENDING WOULD
PUT M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN TO SHAME!” – said J.R. LeMar’s
mother.
“THIS STORY WAS SO EXCITING THAT I ALMOST
WET MY PANTS WHILE READING IT!” – said J.R. LeMar’s
best friend.
“J.R. LEMAR IS F***ING AWESOME!” – said some
smelly homeless man, after J.R. LeMar gave him
a dollar.
4 out of 5 Scientologists say that this one short
story is better than every single sci-fi novel that
L. Ron Hubbard wrote, combined.
Nostradamus predicted that, by the year 2012, J.R.
LeMar will be one of the most successful science
fiction and comic-book writers in America.
And it’s all beginning now. So get in on the ground
floor, by going to the website indyplanet.com & placing
your order for TALES FROM THE PLEX #9, which also
contains THE ORBETTE by Chris J. Powers; DIGI-DAN
by Daniel Lundie; BLIND DATE
by Cassie Summer;
THE NOBLEMAN DETECTIVE by Daniel Lundie; and
bonus
pin-ups by Chris J. Powers.
All of this goodness can be yours for a mere $2.50 +
shipping & handling ($1.73 first class mail).
Note: this site is Print On Demand, so there’s no
back-stock of inventory. When you place the order,
they print it (usually in 2-5 days), and then ship it
to you. Which means, I understand if you don’t have
the extra cash on hand now (it’s a recession, after all),
but whenever you do, it will still be available, @
the same low price. Next week, next month, next
February, whenever. ^_^
And, while there, feel free to check out some of
the other offerings form Futurius. Like TALES

I was wondering where you’d disappeared to. I guess you’ve been too busy writing comic books to write blogs. Congrats!
September 18, 2009 at 1:32 pm
That’s awesome! How did you and the artist collaborate on the project?
September 18, 2009 at 3:38 pm
TWO THUMBS UP!

LOL! Awesome reviews! Great write-up! Good for you!

Thanks, y’all!
@ Eugine: The artist & I didn’t didn’t directly collaborate. I’ve never even spoken to or emailed him. I wrote a 3-page script and sent it to the publisher, Daniel Lundie, who then sent it to Chris J. Powers, for him to draw it. Chris then expanded it a bit, by making the fight scenes in space longer, and that’s how it ended up as 7 pages.

That is one helluva promo piece, my friend. If you write comic books as well as you write blogs, you’ll go far. Congratulations, and best of luck to you, in the future.
